Each day, students practice and learn new reading skills during a time in our day called Reader’s Workshop.
The Reader’s Workshop has 3 main parts:

- Mini Lesson: Teacher shows the students a new reading skill. The students listen and then try the new skill with teacher support.
- Independent Reading: Students read “just right” books while teachers have conferences with students.
- Group Share: Everyone meets together to review the mini-lesson and share how they used the skill during their independent reading time.
